Perry man arrested for arson, more charges after Shoshone Circle fire

Keith Hutchison faces arson, cruelty to children and other charges after Perry fire

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man faces multiple charges in connection with a fire earlier this month.

According to a Perry Police Department news release, Keith Hutchison was arrested following an investigation into a fire at 228 Shoshone Circle on July 8.

The City of Perry Fire Department and Perry Police Department responded fire, and after extinguishing it, launched a joint investigation. Investigators ruled the fire as arson and subsequently arrested Hutchison, who lived at the home.

Hutchison is charged with arson 1st degree, cruelty to children 2nd degree, reckless conduct, criminal damage to property and insurance fraud.
