Perry Dogwood Festival returns this weekend with live music, vendors and family fun
The 36th annual Perry Dogwood Festival is happening Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13, in historic downtown Perry.

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 36th annual Perry Dogwood Festival is happening Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13, in historic downtown Perry.
Thousands are expected to attend to shop local vendors, enjoy food and entertainment, and enjoy the two-day celebration.
According to information posted online by festival organizers, the event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, with “Dogwood After Dark” live music continuing until 8:15 p.m.
Sunday’s festival hours are noon to 5 p.m.
Live music performances will be held on the Entertainment Stage behind Perry City Hall on Main Street.
For children, the Kids Zone features Peachy Playtown’s soft play area for safe climbing and sliding, as well as obstacle courses and bounce houses from Middle Georgia Inflatables. Kids can also try Middle Georgia GellyBall, a paintball-meets-laser tag game designed for younger players. Costs vary. Visit the festival’s Facebook page for more information.
Adults can unwind in the Adult Zone, which offers beers, wines and cocktails from local brands like Tipsy Peach, Bodega Brew and Wolf Creek Plantations.
Food trucks will also be on-site, and visitors can also shop a wide selection of items from local and small business vendors.
Parking is available at several public lots, including 1000 Ball Street (Saturday only), 1031 Macon Road and 1121 Macon Road. Street parking is also allowed along Main Street, Washington Street and across from Anytime Fitness at 1101 Macon Road. Church parking is permitted at Perry Methodist and First Baptist Church of Perry but not during Sunday morning services. Organizers ask attendees not to park in private lots without permission, including those at Durden’s Prime Meats, Ballers Baseball, Walgreens, Baxter and Harbin and The Swanson.
