Pedestrian Hit by Truck in North Bibb County

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A teenager is in critical condition after she was hit by a truck on Arkwright Road Saturday afternoon.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, witnesses say 18-year-old Sheniqua Patterson was walking along Arkwright Road around noon when she was hit by a 2011 GMC Sierra. In a news release, the sheriff’s office identifies the driver as Christopher Dixon.

Patterson was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where she is listed in stable but critical condition. The accident is under investigation.
