Peake raising money to help fund medical marijuana treatment for Georgians

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — State Representative Allen Peake is raising money to help kids suffering from seizure disorders get access to medical marijuana in other states.

Peake announced on his Facebook page Tuesday, he’s partnering with a non-profit in Georgia to establish the Journey of Hope Fund.

The money raised through the fund will help Georgia families pay to relocate their families temporarily to get access to medical marijuana oil in other states.

So far, Peake wrote, he’s raised $50,000.
