Lane Southern Orchards and Festival Park in Fort Valley open to Hurricane Milton evacuees

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Lane Southern Orchards and Festival Park in Fort Valley are open for Hurricane Milton evacuees, the Peach County Emergency Management Agency announced on Wednesday.
According to a Facebook post, Lane Southern Orchards will provide self-contained, no hookup spots for RVs. It will also offer a 10% discount on total retail purchases, and each family member traveling together will receive a care bag: 1 bottle of water, one small bag of chips and a piece of candy. The restaurant will also offer a 10% discount on total purchase and a small ice cream or free drink per family member.
Lane Southern Orchards is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Additionally, the City of Fort Valley also opened Festival Park, located at 310 Martin Luther King Junior Drive, for campers and those with RVs needing a place to stay.
