Partly cloudy Wednesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Rain chances will elevate slightly Wednesday as skies stay partly cloudy.
This Evening
While some clouds from the afternoon may clear heading into the overnight hours, a handful should stick around. They won’t be enough to block the view of the Full Harvest Supermoon that will be overhead tonight. Due to the added cloud cover, however, conditions will be warmer than last night with lows in the mid 60s vs the lower 60s. Ambient wind will be light and variable.
Tomorrow
A mostly sunny morning will give way to partly cloudy skies in the afternoon as temperatures push into the upper 80s around the region. Wind will blow from the west-northwest at 5-10 mph as the remnants of Tropical Depression 8 die off. A couple of showers will be possible in the afternoon and evening, however, especially for the northern third of the region.
Overnight expect scattered clouds with light and variable winds. Lows will be in the mid to upper 60s.
The Tropics
Tropical Depression Gordon no longer exists, however its remnants could reform in the future. It would simply be renamed Gordon again should that happen, and it will stay out to sea.
