Man in critical condition after shooting on Pansy Avenue in Macon

Deputies say the victim was found with a gunshot wound Friday morning.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County deputies say a man is in critical condition after being shot Friday morning on Pansy Avenue.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, it happened in the 200 block of Pansy Avenue. The call came into the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 11:56 a.m.

Deputies arrived and found a 38-year-old man with a gunshot wound. An ambulance took him to the hospital.

The shooting remains under investigation.
