Overcast skies expected most of the weekend, however rain odds are relatively low.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An incoming cold front will bring cloudy skies and showers to Middle Georgia, stalling out to the south and keeping clouds around all weekend.

Skies will remain overcast tonight with the possibility for a couple of showers around the region, especially in the southern counties. Wind will begin to increase from the west-southwest at about 8-15 mph through the night. Gusts could push over 20 mph. Low temperatures will be very mild in the lower 50s and upper 40s.

Overcast skies will remain with winds now coming from the northwest at 7-15 mph, gusting upwards of 25 mph. A couple of small showers will be possible in the northwestern counties early, and they will be possible for the southern counties later in the evening. Temperatures will peak in the mid to upper 50s across most of the region.

Overnight skies will remain overcast with temperatures falling into the mid to upper 30s for most of the region. Winds will remain breezy from the north-northwest as gusts could still push over 20 mph.

It will be another cloudy day until the evening when things finally begin to clear out. Highs will only reach the low to mid 50s in the afternoon as the wind remains out of the north-northwest, however much calmer. Overnight temperatures will drop below freezing for most of Middle Georgia.
