Law enforcement seizes guns, drugs during Macon traffic operation

Deputies say the operation included traffic stops across Macon and involved multiple agencies.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A multi-agency traffic enforcement operation in Macon led to more than a dozen arrests and the seizure of drugs and firearms, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, “Operation Safe Streets” was carried out Friday, April 24 by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division, with assistance from the Georgia State Patrol, the FBI and other specialized units.

Deputies say the operation included a series of traffic stops across Macon.

The release says law enforcement seized approximately 10 firearms, about 3 pounds of marijuana, 3 grams of cocaine, 13 grams of methamphetamine and 12 grams of fentanyl.

According to the sheriff’s office, the operation resulted in 12 arrests, six DUI arrests, 81 traffic citations and 51 warnings.

The release included the following list of those facing charges:

Kent Bailey Sr. (Arrested)
– Driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic/motor vehicle offense.

Jermaine Adaryll Bronner Jr. (IN JAIL)
– Purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana; possession of sawed-off shotgun, machine gun, dangerous weapon or silencer; and three counts of possession of firearm or knife during a commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies.

Allanturvis Jaques Brown (Arrested)
– Hit and run; traffic/motor vehicle offense; and receipt, possession or transfer of firearm of convicted felon or felony first offender.

Yashieka Detrica Burton (IN JAIL)
– Traffic/motor vehicle offense, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Michael Bernard Dean (IN JAIL)
– Purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana; possession of sawed-off shotgun, machine gun, dangerous weapon or silencer; and three counts of possession of firearm or knife during a commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies.

Brandon Jeremiah Holloway (IN JAIL)
– Purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana; possession of sawed-off shotgun, machine gun, dangerous weapon or silencer; and three counts of possession of firearm or knife during a commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies.

Michaello Antonio James Sr. (IN JAIL)
– Purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana; possession of sawed-off shotgun, machine gun, dangerous weapon or silencer; and three counts of possession of firearm or knife during a commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies.

Zyon Wiltavious James (IN JAIL)
– Willful obstruction of law enforcement officers; criminal use of an article with altered ID mark.

Timothy Narada Jones (Arrested)
– Purchase, possess or have control of controlled substance in schedule I or narcotic in schedule II.

Johnny Elbert Kier (Arrested)
– Driving while license suspended or revoked; traffic/motor vehicle offense.

Maurice Antwan Lockett Jr. (IN JAIL)
– Marijuana-possess less than 1 oz; two counts of purchase, possess or have control of controlled substance in schedule I or narcotic in schedule II; driving under the influence of multiple substances; traffic/motor vehicle offense.

Maurice Antwan Lockett Sr. (IN JAIL)
– Marijuana-possess less than 1 oz; two counts of purchase, possess or have control of controlled substance in schedule I or narcotic in schedule II.

Breandon Lakya Maxwell (Arrested)
– Driving while license suspended or revoked; two counts of traffic/motor vehicle offense.

Demetrio Del Angel Miguel (Arrested)
– Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.

Jabria Jomeisha Parker (IN JAIL)
– Marijuana-possess less than 1 oz.

Zita Perez Santiago (Arrested)
– Two counts of traffic/motor vehicle offense; driving under the influence of alcohol; and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Antonio Deonta Williams (Arrested)
– Purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution, or sale of marijuana; possession of firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies.

Melvin Tremel Williams (IN JAIL)
– Warrants were served on false imprisonment, kidnapping, two counts of aggravated assault, cruelty to children 2nd degree and probation violation.
