“Operation Fred” Drug bust leads to 4 arrests

SANDERSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Wednesday afternoon on August 18,2021, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office shared information concerning a drug bust that resulted in the arrest of 4 people.

According to the release, Deputies from Washington County and Johnson County teamed up with the Ocmulgee Drug Task Force and Georgia Department of Community Supervision to execute “Operation Fred”,  a several-month long undercover drug operation that led to the seizing of nearly 7 oz. of methamphetamine and the arrests of 4 people.

The 4 arrested in question are 31 year-old Robert Kinslow, 46 year-old Neil Price, 36 year-old Daniel Whittmer, and 53 year-old Thomas Frady. All of these men are from Wrightsville, except for Price, who is from Bartow. The charges spread across these 4 include the Trafficking of Methamphetamine, Probation violations, Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to distribute and more.

The release states that the investigation is ongoing, and that Sheriffs Cochran and Rowland anticipate more arrests to come.
