Two people dead after Watson Boulevard car accident

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -UPDATE: The driver of the Kia SUV was 43-year-old Trevonda Bryant.

There were two passengers in the Kia. The backseat passenger was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health. A child was also in a car seat, but was ejected from the car with serious injuries. The child was taken to Navicent then transported to the Children’s Hospital in Atlanta.

Houston County Coroner, Danny Galpin, has confirmed that a second person involved in Tuesday night’s car accident has died.

Galpin says a 43-year old woman who was driving a Kia SUV died on the scene. A 61-year old man, who was driving a Ford F-150 died at the hospital around 8 a.m. Wednesday.

A third person, who was in the Kia, is in the hospital in stable condition.

The names have not yet been released since the next of kin has not been notified.

A car accident left one person dead in Warner Robins Tuesday night.

According to a report from the Warner Robins Police Department, the accident happened just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of Watson Boulevard and Austin Avenue.

Police say a Ford F-150 traveling East on Watson Blvd crossed the median into oncoming traffic and hit a Kia SUV.

The driver of the Kia died on the scene. The person driving the truck was taken to the hospital.

Officers are investigating the crash.

All Watson Blvd westbound lanes are blocked until further notice.
