Oconee Regional Medical Center CEO Quits

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Jean Aycock, the CEO of the Oconee Regional Medical Center is turning in her resignation.  It was announced at a hospital board meeting earlier this week.

The chairman of the Oconee Regional Medical Center, David Groseclose issued a statement afterward saying the board is working on transition plan and will keep doctors and the community updated during the next steps.

Why did Aycock resign? No one has been willing to answer that question. Groseclose’s statement said the hospital couldn’t comment on the specifics.
