Ocmulgee Heritage Trail Reopened

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Ocmulgee Heritage trail has now reopened.

The Macon-Bibb County Fire Department closed off the entrance near Spring Street to clean it up this weekend.

It was reopened on Saturday after volunteer crews walked along the trail to pick up litter and removed any debris from the area.

The annual trail litter removal initiative began in January 2013.
