Nunn visits Macon, aims to grab more voters before primaries

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Democratic U.S. Candidate Michelle Nunn stopped in Macon on Monday pushing for last minute votes before Tuesday’s primary election.

She grabbed lunch with her supporters at Francar’s to chat with them before they hit the polls.

She says everywhere she’s been, Georgians have had one thing on their minds that they’ve wanted to see more of….jobs.

“…and that we’re ensuring all of our citizens have the opportunity to be self-sufficient, to have jobs that’ll provide a livable wage, and to be able to give back to their own communities. I want to create the conditions for job growth and opportunity in Georgia,” Nunn said.

Nunn believes increasing the minimum wage and investing in the state’s infrastructure would bring more jobs to Georgia.
