No new flight missions for Robins Air Force Base anytime soon

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 21st Century Partnership is a group that protects and monitors Robins Air Force Base.

The group had their quarterly meeting on Thursday. The President and CEO, Charles Stenner, said there won’t be any new flying missions at the base anytime soon. However, there will be more opportunities for softer missions.

“Electronic warfare, intelligence surveillance reconnaissance, the kinds of things that are being used on a daily basis around the world today. We do a lot of those kinds of things here already,” noted Stenner.

The Chief Operating Officer of 21st Century Partnership said to bring in new missions, the base is focusing on their weaker areas. This includes property crimes. Robins ranks relatively high compared to similar bases.
