No Bond for Accused Child Molester

KNOXVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Crawford County High school employee, charged with five counts of child molestation went before Superior Court Judge, Phillip Brown, Friday for a bond hearing.

Carlteze James Saffold, 28, of Roberta is also charged with multiple counts of sexual exploitation.

No bond was set during the recent hearing. But, a bond hearing will be set at a later date.

According to, Crawford County Sheriff, Lewis Walker, Judge Brown wants to speak with the victims’ parents before setting a bond for Saffold.

Saffold’s bond was $100,000.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is assisting the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in the on-going investigation.
