Night at the Museum of Aviation happening Saturday

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – We’re just a couple of days away from Night at the Museum of Aviation.

Saturday, you’ll find exhibits featuring people like Neil Armstrong, Bessie Coleman, Rosie the Riveter, and Winston Churchill.

The money raised from the family-friendly event will support the museum’s National STEM Academy which offers educational programs and field trips for students and teachers.

Organizers of the event say its a great opportunity to bring history to life.

“We really talk about America’s great history, and we’ve got storytellers, and reenactments, and a lot of pop culture as well spread all around the museum. It’s a great event for families, and really people of all ages will enjoy this event,” says Melissa Spalding, Director of Education at the Museum of Aviation.

Tickets to Saturday’s event are $10.

You can expect food and music during the hands-on event.

An aircraft will also be open for special viewing.

The event is from 5 PM until 9PM.
