Nice conditions begin Friday before rain moves in late

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Skies will remain clear tonight and into tomorrow before clouds return ahead of overnight rain.
The Rest of the Evening
Skies will remain clear as frigid conditions fall back into place with the clouds from yesterday gone. Temperatures will bottom out in the upper 20s and lower 30s ahead of Friday morning. Overnight winds will mainly come from the northeast at about 5-10 mph. This could lead to wind chills into the mid 20s in some spots.
Tomorrow
Sunny skies will greet Middle Georgians Friday morning, however clouds will begin to filter in during the lunchtime hours. Highs will reach the upper 50s for most of Middle Georgia with one or two spots potentially cracking 60. It will be breezy with winds of 6-12 mph coming from the east. Gusts could reach upwards of 20 mph.
Overnight things will likely get a bit messy with rain coming in from the west ahead of midnight. Winds will pick up some as well from the east-southeast at about 10-20 mph. Gusts could reach upwards of 25 mph at times. The heaviest rain is likely after midnight around Middle Georgia. No severe weather is expected thanks to chilly overnight conditions (lows in the mid to upper 40s). Anyone with First Friday plans in Downtown Macon should bring the rain gear.
This Weekend
Saturday will be a mostly cloudy day, however most of (if not all) of the rain from Friday night should clear out around sunrise. Gusts could push upwards of 20 mph.
