Nerveless Nocks bring historic stunt show to Georgia National Fair

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – If you are headed out to the fair this weekend you can check out a death defying stunt show put on by “The Nerveless Nocks”. The historic family show features thrilling feats of balance and strength that require the performers to be fearless, especially when many of these happen far above the ground.

“We are out here performing and we are risking our lives, but it’s what we do. It’s what we love to do.  We go up 80 feet in the air!”, says Angelina Nock, Stunt Performer for The Nerveless Nocks. “It’s a family show. I’m performing with my father and my brother.  My mom even performs still.  It’s just an all around family show, it has been handed down from generation to generation. Our family started out in 1840, they were the original circus in Switzerland out in the Swiss Alps and in 1954, my grandparents were actually brought over, by Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus to headline the greatest show on earth and I’m very proud of that and very proud of our history”.

To see these stunts live the Nerveless Nocks stage is set up just behind the Mega Mile and, you can check out the schedule of performances on the Georgia National Fair app.
