Navicent Health donation to boost Fort Valley State University’s athletic department

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Medical Center of Peach County, Navicent Health along with the Medcen Community Health Foundation, Navicent Health donated $24,000 to Fort Valley State University.

The funds will pay for two additional athletic trainers who will provide health care needs to student athletes.

CEO of Medical Center of Peach County, Navicent Health, Nancy Peed says, “We’ve always been good friends with Fort Valley State and this was just one way i think we could step up and solidify this partnership and work together around the health of athletes.”

The donation was funded by donors who support The Medical Center of Peach County, Navicent Health.
