Volunteers needed in Middle Georgia

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Museum of Aviation needs volunteers on a regular basis to fill shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

Volunteers will be needed from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

According to a news release from the museum, volunteers duties will include, greeting people, helping visitors with questions, and keeping an eye on exhibits.

No military or aviation experience is required. The museum will provide training.

In Houston County, Habitat for Humanity needs volunteers for the Fall Neighborhood Cleanup Day.

Volunteers will clean up the New Hope neighborhood.

The event will be on October 21st at 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., and a cookout will follow.
