Museum of Aviation hosts Food Truck Friday event

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Museum of Aviation hosted its 3rd Food

Truck Friday for the month of June.

Dozens tried local food vendors from around middle Georgia Friday afternoon.

Sharon Waugh, a visitor who comes each week since the event started earlier this June, says she enjoys the outdoor food scene and atmosphere.

“We thought it would be a great idea to come and visit. The food is really good, and it’s just nice to be out here today,” says Waugh.

There were several vendors, including Francar’s Buffalo Wings.

Sofrito’s Owner and Operator, Jada Smith, serves a fusion of Venezuelan and American food.

“I was born and raised here. My husband is from Venezuela, so our food is an international mix…kind of like our city,” Smith says,”So, this is a great opportunity for us to share our love for food with the community.”

Food Truck Friday is open to everyone. There are new food vendors each week, according to Tyler Bryant at the Museum of Aviation.

The event is every Friday from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Museum of Aviation.
