Murder suspect arrested in connection to September’s fatal shooting at Club Status
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A murder suspect has turned himself in to U.S. Marshals. Gregory Staten Jr. is accused of shooting a man outside of Club Status in September. The 26-year-old is also charged with a parole violation. No bond has been set.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, off-duty deputies were in the parking lot of the nightclub on Pio Nono Avenue trying to break up a fight. They heard a gun shot, then found the victim, 29-year-old Aquallo Davis, laying on the pavement.
