Mount de Sales looking for improvement after 4-6 season in 2014

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Mount de Sales Cavaliers and second year coach Keith Hatcher head into 2015 after a 4-6 finish last season. That included four straight region loses to FPD, Wilkinson County, Stratford, and Tattnall.

The Cavaliers will need to break in a new quarterback for the upcoming year. Coach Hatcher says he has three capable candidates for the position and hopes to build upon a squad that scored 25 points per game.

On defense, Mount de Sales will be counting on defensive stalwarts Jordan Edwards and Brandon Crowder to help potentially lower the 30 points a contest they gave up in 2014.

The first game for the Cavaliers will be on Friday, August 28th versus Pacelli.
