Mostly sunny and seasonal Tuesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It’ll be a bit warmer Tuesday afternoon as overhead skies remain mostly sunny.
This Evening
A mostly sunny afternoon will become a clear and cool night as most spots around Middle Georgia should drop into the upper 40s and lower 50s. The wind will be light from the south around 5 mph.
Tomorrow
Another mostly sunny day is likely with temperatures peaking in the low to mid 80s, or around the average for this time of year. The wind will continue from the south at 5-12 mph with gusts reaching between 15 and 20 mph.
Overnight cloud cover will increase a bit as the wind becomes more south-southwesterly. Expect low temperatures to take a jump from the previous night into the mid to upper 50s by Wednesday morning.
Wednesday and Beyond
Cloud cover will return Wednesday afternoon with temperatures largely peaking in the mid to upper 80s. If clouds hold off a bit later in the afternoon a few spots may reach the lower 90s. The wind will be breezy from the southwest at 7-15 mph. Gusts may push over 20 mph.
Mostly cloudy conditions will begin starting Wednesday night with widespread storm activity likely Thursday. Severe weather may be possible on Thursday as the cold front passes through, however at this time it’s a bit too far out to know all the details.
