UPDATE: Macon man charged with three counts of murder in Sunday shooting

Deputies say 20-year-old Julius Milner faces three murder charges and five counts of aggravated assault.

UPDATE (2/23/26): A 20-year-old man is now in custody in connection with the shooting deaths of three men on Sunday.

According to an update from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the sheriff’s office’s Criminal Investigation Division Violent Crime Unit identified 20-year-old Julius Milner of Macon as a person of interest, and U.S. Marshals took him into custody.

He’s charged with three counts of murder and five counts of aggravated assault and is being held without bond.

UPDATE (2/22/26): Deputies have identified the victims as 25-year-old Charleston Burnett, 25-year-old Jordan Gardner and 26-year-old Willie Cain.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Three people were found dead early Sunday morning after a shooting on Moseley Avenue, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting was reported to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 3:35 a.m. Deputies responded to Moseley Avenue near the intersection of Cedar Avenue after receiving reports of multiple people shot.

When deputies got there, they found three males who had died from gunshot wounds.

Their names and ages have not been released.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division’s Violent Crime Unit is investigating the shooting.
