Morrow, Upshaw take Houston Co. BOE seats

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Hoke Morrow wins the election for Post 6 on the school board, while Bryan Upshaw wins in the Post 7 race.

Morrow takes the vote by a 56% to a 43% vote put up by opponent Sheila Ashley.

Upshaw wins by a 65% to 34% vote, beating opponent Tannya Duncan.

“I really wanna serve and I really wanna help the people of Houston County,” said Morrow. “And I wanna be, you know, be me. Bring a common sense approach and an honest, trustworthy, and be an advocate.”

“I really want to get started right away with helping out the community and the county and give back what we’ve been hoping to give back,” said Upshaw. “It will be business as usual for whatever tasks are at hand.”
