Morning fire destroys Warner Robins apartment building
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Warner Robins Fire Department responded to a fire at the Oakdale Villas Apartment Homes on Corder Road around 2:10 a.m. Tuesday.
According to a news release, flames were coming from the top floor and center breezeway of Building F.
Of the 8 apartments 6 were occupied. All tenants were evacuated and no one was injured.
Firefighters were eventually able to put the fire out, but the building was a loss.
The Red Cross is assisting tenants who have to be displaced due to the fire.
An investigation is still ongoing into what caused the blaze.
