More sunshine expected Tuesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –
Tonight
A mostly sunny day will become a relatively clear night as just a few scattered clouds hang around. It will be another cooler night following the cold front passage Saturday night. Lows will drop into the upper 40s and lower 50s ahead of Tuesday morning. Wind will be light out of the north-northeast.
Tomorrow
Tuesday will feature plenty of sun before clouds start to increase a bit more in the late afternoon. Highs will largely be in the low to mid 80s, however the coolest spots may still only reach the upper 70s. Wind will be light from the west.
Overnight will get cloudier as a wet pattern is expected over the back parts of the week. While the odds are slim, a stray shower or two cannot be ruled out ahead of the sunrise on Wednesday. Lows will be a good bit warmer as a result of the added clouds as they jump into the upper 50s. Wind will be light and variable.
Wednesday and Beyond
A rainy pattern will take over Georgia beginning Wednesday, allowing for storm opportunities each day the rest of the week. It will be cooler and cloudier, however the humidity will be up to go with the higher rain odds. A drop in the rain odds could occur over the weekend.
