Friday will see mostly sunny skies for the majority of the day, however in the evening a few more clouds may begin to move in. Highs will primarily climb into the lower 90s with heat indexes into the mid 90s. While most of the High School Football games will be in the evening, a pair of them in Fort Valley will be in the afternoon. Players and spectators alike must stay hydrated. A stray shower will be possible in the evening for the northernmost counties of Middle Georgia, however overall rain is not expected for Friday.

Ernesto now has an eye as it continues to strengthen in the Atlantic. It is currently a Category 1 storm with winds of 85 mph. It should avoid North America save for the far eastern reaches of Canada. Bermuda, however, is potentially in the path of the powerful storm.
