More heat and humidity start to arrive Tuesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures will reach the 80s again in the afternoon as rain odds and cloud cover start to rise.

Mostly clear skies will see a bit more clouds arrive heading into tonight. It should be a mix of high and mid-level clouds, especially leading up to Tuesday morning. Low temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50s as winds come from the west-southwest at around 5 mph.

Tomorrow

It will be a partly sunny and hot day as highs reach the mid 80s for most of Middle Georgia. Southwest winds will continue to feed in at around 5-10 mph, gusting to about 15 mph. During the late afternoon or evening a stray shower or two cannot be ruled out.

Shower odds will overall be low overnight tomorrow night as well, however they will be higher than during the afternoon. Low temperatures will largely be in the lower 60s as winds continue to feed from the south-southwest at around 5 mph.

Partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid to upper 80s are likely Wednesday along with a few isolated showers. Winds will remain relatively calm out of the south. The heat will continue through the rest of the week along with a few rain chances. Rain odds look to climb more over the weekend.
