There’s been plenty of sun around Middle Georgia on this Tuesday afternoon however high clouds are rolling in during the evening. It will be a much warmer night as several locations will see low temperatures around 50 degrees. The wind will be light from the south at around 5 mph. A mostly cloudy day is likely around Middle Georgia with plenty of warmth. High temperatures should largely reach the low to mid 70s accompanied by balmy breezes from the southwest at 10-15 mph. Gusts will likely reach upwards of 20 mph. A stray shower or two will be possible in the afternoon however rain should overall be tough to come by.

Overnight will be mostly cloudy if not overcast for much of the region. Expect very warm conditions as temperatures only valley in the upper 50s and lower 60s. A stray shower or two is possible however rain odds will still be quite low. The wind will flow from the south-southwest at 5-12 mph with gusts to around 17 mph.

Thursday and Beyond

Rain odds will increase a bit more Thursday afternoon with a few isolated showers likely in the afternoon and evening. The odds will be even higher overnight, but still less than half the region should see any rain before Friday. As for Friday (and Saturday as well) thunderstorms are likely with a cold front moving in that is expected to stall out. Depending on where the line stalls this could lead to a flash flooding threat over the weekend. There is also the possibility for some storms to be severe. More will be known about that in the coming days.
