A sunny and breezy Tuesday has been nothing short of fantastic outdoor weather across Middle Georgia for early September. It will be a pretty cool night as temperatures dip into the upper 50s for most of the region. A couple of spots may flirt with record lows. Skies overhead will be clear and the wind will continue from the northeast at 5-10 mph.

Another sunny day awaits Middle Georgia Wednesday. It will be less breezy however the wind will still flow from the northeast at around 5-10 mph. Gusts could still reach to about 15 mph. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s again, or a degree or two warmer than Tuesday.

Thursday and Beyond

Temperatures will likely begin to push into the upper 80s starting Thursday afternoon as conditions overall remain mostly sunny during the daylight hours. Wind will remain from the northeast however it will be calmer than it was early in the week. Lows will still be in the upper 50s and lower 60s to finish the week, so despite the temperatures rising an increase in mugginess is not expected.
