Monroe County offers free driving safety course

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Monroe County is offering a free driving safety course for teens and parents Wednesday night.

Jackson said the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the Forsyth Police Department and other emergency service organizations will be helping out. The departments will respond to the scene as if it were a real accident.

The program starts at 7 p.m. in the Monroe County Recreation Department on Dan Pitt Drive in Forsyth. No registration is required. The event is free and open to anyone. For more information you can call Monroe County Emergency Services at (478) 994-7024.
