Monroe County deputies searching for man who fled traffic stop

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a man deputies say fled a traffic stop.

According to a Facebook post from the sheriff’s office Monday morning, the man was seen near Sutton Road and Highway 42 North.

Deputies describe him as a tall, slende with short dreadlocks. He was wearing all-black clothing and a black hoodie.

The sheriff’s office did not release his name or say when or why he was initially stopped.
