Sheriff's Office seeks public's help identifying suspect in identity theft case

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGTT) – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an identity theft case involving a stolen and altered check that was deposited at Wings Financial Credit Union at 1897 Sullivan Road in College Park on May 20.

The sheriff’s office released images of the suspect in a Facebook post on Thursday.

“Anyone knowing the identity of this person or has information about this case is asked to contact the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office at (478) 994-7010 or Investigation Marc Mansfield at (478) 994-7043 ext. 209,” the post stated.
