Deputies report finding more than 9 pounds of ecstasy during I-75 stop
Deconta Daniels and Marquisia Sutton are charged with trafficking ecstasy, while Daniels also faces a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Two Atlanta residents are being held without bond after Monroe County deputies say they found more than nine pounds of ecstasy and a handgun during a traffic stop on Interstate 75 Tuesday afternoon.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says deputies stopped the vehicle at mile marker 190 on I-75 South after it was recorded traveling 86 mph in a 70 mph zone.
Deconta Daniels and Marquisia Sutton were arrested and charged with trafficking ecstasy. Daniels was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Both are being held at the Monroe County Jail without bond.
