Deputies: Monroe County man arrested after meth seized during search
Deputies say meth and drug-related items were found during a search on Lakeshore Drive.

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Monroe County man is in jail without bond after investigators seized methamphetamine and drug-related items during a search in the High Falls area.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, investigators executed a search warrant on Tuesday at a home on Lakeshore Drive following an “extensive investigation.”
During the search, deputies say they found methamphetamine, packaging materials, digital scales, drug-smoking devices and prescription medication that was not stored in its original container.
44-year-old Brandon Berry of Monroe County is charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of dangerous drugs involving prescription medication and possession of drug-related objects.
Berry is being held at the Monroe County Jail without bond.
