Monroe County deputies make arrest after search of home

A man is in custody and faces multiple charges after deputies executed a search warrant at a home on Monday.

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is in custody and faces multiple charges after deputies executed a search warrant at a home on Monday.

According to a Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, deputies had received multiple complaints regarding a home on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. After an investigation and search of the home, deputies say they found ecstasy pills, marijuana, crack cocaine and a firearm.

37-year-old Eugene Davis was arrested and charged with possession of ecstasy with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of crack cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He’s being held in the Monroe County Jail without bond.
