MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting Thursday night on Fuller Road.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded around 6:53 p.m. to a report of a person shot at a home.
Deputies say the victim was taken to a hospital in Macon for treatment and that a person of interest has been detained.
As of this report, deputies have not released the condition of the victim or additional details about what led to the shooting.
