Milledgeville residents file new ethics complaint against city councilman

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Some residents in Milledgeville filed another ethics complaint, but this time it is against one city council member.

According to Melba Burrell, who filed the original ethics complaint against several city council members, this complaint is against Walter Reynolds. Reynolds is the whistleblower who tape recorded an alleged illegal meeting.

The complaint states he is accused of “not being part of the team.” The citizens believe he was in the wrong for calling out his fellow board members for moving city funds out of one bank into another.

41NBC will follow up on this story Wednesday.
