Milledgeville Police: Recent shootings gang related

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Milledgeville police investigators believe the recent shootings in the area are gang related. 

The police department is investigating 14 different shootings that happened over the last several weeks in the city and county. The most recent one was a drive-by on West Mitchell Street. 

Macon Regional Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information about any of the shootings that leads to an arrest. The Milledgeville police chief said he will match that offer if the arrest leads to a conviction.
