MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Milledgeville Police arrested two people Wednesday after finding stolen items from recent vehicle break-ins and apartment burglaries during a search warrant execution.

According to a news release from the Milledgeville Police Department, patrol officers and detectives began investigating several vehicle break-ins at The Boulevard Apartment Complex on March 12. The investigation led to a search warrant for a home on Fox Hill Road in Baldwin County.

While detectives and a Baldwin County deputy executed the warrant, Milledgeville patrol officers responded to additional burglaries at Revelry Flats Apartment Complex. Officers quickly realized that many items recovered during the search were the same ones reported stolen from the apartment burglaries.

During the search, police seized several gaming consoles, gaming controllers, backpacks, Apple iPods and two firearms.
