Milledgeville Man in Police Custody After Alleged Hotel Burglary

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Milledgeville man is in police custody after he was charged for burglary.

Kenneth Williams, 22, allegedly took a master key at an Econo Lodge and broke into a guest’s hotel room.

Over $6,000 was taken from the room.

Williams is being held behind bars with charges for Burglary, Giving False Name, and Obstruction of an Officer.

He also was being sought by law enforcement for an outstanding probation warrant.

Milledgeville police are currently investigating.
