MGSC Men, Women Extend Losing Streaks

COCHRAN, Georgia (MGSC RELEASE) – The Knights men and women both dropped another game and extended their losing streaks in 2014.

The women lost Wednesday to Andrew College 82-65 after leading by four at the half.  The Knights were led by Va’Queshia Hall and Keiana Rollins with 12 points each while Ritzy Griffin added 11 and grabbed 13 rebounds.

The men played Thursday at home and lost 67-65 to Clinton Junior Collage on a shot with 2.5 seconds left after a game tying three by Roshaun Milline with 7.9 seconds to go. The Knights were led by Rashard Flint with 21 points and 9 rebounds while Milline had 15 and Javaris Hooks added 10 points and 7 assists.

Both teams travel to Swainsboro Saturday, January 25 for their next game with the women at 5:30 and men at 7:30. Both will be looking to pick up a big win to snap losing streaks and try to make a run for the GCAA tournament down the stretch.
