MGA club football falls in national title game
WHEELING, West Virginia (41NBC/WMGT) – Middle Georgia State’s club football team failed to repeat as national champions, falling to Oakland 24-14 Saturday in the National Club Football Association championship game at West Liberty University’s West Family Stadium.
Oakland, which had won the title in 2014, led 15-14 at halftime. The Golden Grizzlies added three field goals in the second half while holding the Knights scoreless to claim their second title in three years.
