Mercer’s LGBT-Straight alliance offers free HIV testing

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – In honor of World AIDS Day, Mercer’s LGBT-Straight alliance Common Ground, offered free HIV testing from 2-4:00p.m. in the Penfield Hall on campus.

The group says it wants to educate people about HIV and end the misconception and stigma with the virus.

An awareness talk will also be held at 6:00 p.m. in conference room 3 of the student union with a Mercer University Global Health professor as a special speaker.
