Mercer offers free football tickets to Hurricane Milton evacuees for Saturday’s game against Princeton
Mercer University offers free tickets to individuals displaced by Hurricane Milton for Saturday's football game and gameday festivities.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Mercer University’s Athletics Department announced on Wednesday that complimentary tickets will be offered to those displaced by Hurricane Milton for Saturday’s football game between the 7th-ranked, undefeated Bears and Princeton.
The game will be held at Five Star Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
“We want to welcome our friends from Florida and all areas affected by Hurricane Milton to Five Star Stadium on Saturday afternoon,” Mercer’s Director of Athletics Jim Cole said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those displaced by this storm, and our hope is to provide an outlet to those who have evacuated to Middle Georgia.”

Saturday’s gameday events will start at 11 a.m. with the opening of the Fall Line Beer Garden at Black Field. The Dr Pepper Fansville, featuring inflatables for children and adults, will open at noon. Megan Fowler, a two-time Georgia Music Awards Female Country Artist of the Year, will start the free Ford Football Concert Series at noon.
Mercer’s traditional Bear Walk to Five Star Stadium will is set for 1 p.m., followed by a performance from Billboard country chart regular Eli Young Band at 1:15 p.m.
The gates to Five Star Stadium will open 60 minutes before kickoff.
