Medical Center, Navicent Health’s first “Tax Day” baby receives college money
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Medical Center, Navicent Health’s first “Tax Day” baby was born around 1 a.m. Monday.
The Dvorak Family was given $1,529 to help pay for their new baby boy’s college education.
The money will go into his Path2College 529 Plan savings account.
The baby’s mother, Jacqueline Kennedy-Dvorak, said it’s nice to have a start on saving for her son’s education.
“We bought a piggy bank yesterday. I anticipated quarters and nickels and dimes, but he’s got a pretty good start right now so we can start investing that and that’s exciting,” said Kennedy-Dvorak.
The baby doesn’t have a name just yet.
Mom hopes he goes to a small liberal arts college while dad wants him to be a UCLA Bruin.
