McRae-Helena turning ‘little random tree’ outside City Hall into community Christmas display

City leaders are encouraging residents, especially children, to add decorations to the tree this holiday season.

McRAE-HELENA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A “little random tree” outside McRae-Helena City Hall is turning into a community holiday project.

The City of McRae-Helena shared a post on social media inviting residents, especially children, to help decorate the tree after city staff decided to turn it into a Christmas display.

The post encouraged people to bring ornaments, ribbons or decorations to add to the tree, which is located toward the back of City Hall at 25 S. First Ave.
